Material & Design
We went with a quartz envelope and halogen fill gas because it keeps output stable, even after repeated heating and cooling cycles. The shortwave UV is tuned to wake up the photoinitiators in glass bonding adhesives, and the halogen cycle keeps the filament steady at high temps, so output stays consistent over long runs.
